How To Host a Holiday Cookie Exchange
Send invitations to your friends, co-workers, neighbors and family to gather at your home for an exchange of favorite holiday cookies!
Each person brings five dozen of their favorite home baked cookies along with 12-15 copies of the recipe. Make it a friendly competition and give prizes to the Most Unique and the Best Presentation of their baked cookies. Chat with wine and coffee, taste test each cookie and before everyone leaves, have them go through the cookie buffet with zip-lock and shopping bags you provide.
Each person gets an equal amount of each cookie; i.e. If there are 12 guests and they each brought five dozen of their cookies, you will all sample one dozen of each and then get to divvy up by taking 4 cookies of each kind. Everyone should go home with 4 dozen cookies in variety.
