Bacon Quiche
Cheese, Bacon and Onions make this quiche flavorful.
Ingredients
- 1 unbaked 9″ Pie Shell
- 12 strips Bacon, cooked & diced
- 4 Eggs
- 1 Cup shredded Cheese
- 1/2 Cup onions, chopped
- 2 Cups Whipping Cream
- 3/4 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Sugar
- 1/8 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
- Pepper to taste
Directions
- Line unpricked pastry shell with double thick foil. Bake at 450 degrees for 5 minutes, remove foil and bake 5 minutes longer. Reduce oven heat to 425 degrees.
- Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion into pie crust. Beat eggs, cream, salt, sugar, cayenne and pepper. Pour into pie crust.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 300 degrees and bake for 30 minutes longer.
Notes
This is a great dish to make the day before. Pop it into the oven and heat it up the morning you serve it.
