Basil Spaghetti
A quick vegetarian pasta that will satisfy even the non-vegetarians.
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- 1/2 small Onion, diced
- 1/2 tsp. minced Garlic OR 1 clove fresh Garlic, chopped
- 1 14.5oz. can Italian Style Diced Tomatoes
- 2 Tbsp. fresh chopped basil
- 8 oz. cooked spaghetti
Direction
- Prepare spaghetti as directed on package.
- Preheat olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Add diced onion and garlic; sautee until tender. Add Italian style diced tomatoes; simmer about 5 minutes.
- Add basil just before serving over cooked spaghetti.
Notes
If you’d prefer a dish with meat, add grilled chicken or Italian sausage.
