Chinese Noodle Salad

    Ingredients
  • Topping:
  • 1 pkg of Ramen noodles, crushed (don’t include the seasoning pack!)
  • 2 Tbsp slivered almonds
  • 1 Tbsp butter or margarine
  • Salad:
  • 1 head Nappa cabbage, shredded or cut into bite site pieces
  • 1/2 head of Romaine, shredded or bite size
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 1 large can Mandarin oranges
  • Dressing:
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/8 cup vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
    Directions
  1. Dressing:Shake or mix well the dressing ingredients together, then chill.
  2. Topping: Toast the noodles and almonds in melted butter and set aside. Sprinkle over the top of the salad when you are ready to serve. (if you do it sooner, they get soggy)
  3. Prepare your salad and toss with dressing. Sprinkle the topping on top before serving. ENJOY!
