Country Fried Steak

Simple version! Easy to make.

    Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. Ground Hamburger
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 pkg. Saltine Crackers, crushed
    Directions

  1. Make you hamburger patties, set aside.
  2. Mix your eggs and milk with whisk.
  3. Add salt and pepper to crushed crackers.
  4. Dip your patty into milk mixture, then press into cracker mixture. Both sides.
  5. Place in skillet, cover and cook on medium heat. Flip at about 5 minutes. Cook until hamburger is cooked well.

Notes
My mom always served with mashed potatoes and country white gravy.
