    Ingredients

  • Cake:
  • 8 oz. Cream Cheese
  • 3 sticks of Butter- unsalted and softened
  • 6 large Eggs
  • 3 Cups Sugar
  • 3 Cups sifted Cake Flour
  • 1.5 tsp. Vanilla
  • Frosting:
  • 1 box Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Crisco
  • 1 Egg White
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1 Tbsp. Water
    Directions

  1. Mix cream cheese and butter well.
  2. Beat 6 eggs, add to mixer…and beat.
  3. Add sugar and vanilla.
  4. Slowly add sifted flour.
  5. Pour into a greased and floured bunt pan.
  6. Bake for 45-60 minutes at 300 degrees. (Until knife comes out clean) Should be golden brown on top! Let stand for 5 minutes after cooking before flipping out of pan.
  7. Frosting:
  8. Mix all ingredients, pour over cake after it has cooled.

Notes
High Alltitude: Add an extra egg our use Jumbo eggs. And Bake at 320 degrees for 1 hour 5 minutes.
