Cucumber & Onion Salad
Super easy side for summer- great with BBQ or sandwiches.
Ingredients
- 2/3 Cup Water
- 1/3 Cup Vinegar
- 1/4 Cup Oil
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cucumber, sliced thin
- 1 yellow/white Onion, sliced into thin rings
- Salt
- Pepper
Directions
- Mix all in a glass dish.
- Cover and let chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
- Enjoy
Notes
To make this German- add Dill, about a tsp. or more if you are a dill fan. I wouldn’t use a red onion because it “bleeds” and makes the whole dish pink.
