Gingerbread Ornaments

These aromatic ornaments are fun and easy to make, but don’t try to eat them! YUCK!

    Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 Cup Flour
  • 1 Cup Cinnamon
  • 1 Cup Salt
  • 1 Cup Water
  • Holiday Cookie Cutters
  • 1 Straw
  • Ribbon
    Directions

  1. Mix ingredients.
  2. Roll out dough and use cookie cutters to create your favorite holiday shapes.
  3. Take your straw and poke a hole near the top of your shape, creating a space to loop your ribbon hanger.
  4. Place on coated cookie sheet.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool and loop your ribbon through the hole to complete your ornaments.

Notes
Once they cool, you may use markers to add a personal touch.
