Homemade Baked Beans

This recipe is party sized, half or quarter it for meals.

    Ingredients

  • 8 slices Bacon, cooked
  • 2 Cups Onion, diced
  • 2 Cups Green Bell Peppers, diced
  • 3 Garlic Cloves, pressed
  • 1 31oz. Can Pork and Beans
  • 2 15oz. Cans Pinto Beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 15oz. Cans Kidney Beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 15oz. Cans Black Beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 12oz. bottle Chili Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup Molasses or Honey
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 2 tsp. Pepper
    Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Crumble your cooked bacon and set aside.
  3. Cook onions and bell peppers until tender. Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Mix everything in large baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.

Notes
This would work well in a large crockpot as well. I would have it on high for 2-4 hours.
