Mexican Bean Dip

A variation of the 7-layer dip.

    Ingredients

  • 1 can Refried Beans
  • 1 tsp. Lemon Juice
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning
  • 8 oz Sour Cream
  • 1 small jar (4oz) Salsa
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 cups lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • Optional: Diced Black Olives or Jalapenos
    Directions

  1. Mix first 3 ingredients and spread onto serving plate.
  2. Layer the remaining ingredients in order.
  3. Serve with tortilla chips.

Notes
We love making this for a community meal with our kids. They think it’s cool because we all eat with our fingers. We think it’s cool because it’s minimal clean-up.
