No Peek Chicken

Easy Chicken and rice recipe.

    Ingredients

  • 2 large cans chicken, or 1 whole chicken boiled and shredded.
  • 1 can creamy onion soup
  • 1 can cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken OR mushroom soup
  • 1 small box instant rice
    Directions

  1. Mix all soups together in large bowl.
  2. Add the chicken and uncooked rice.
  3. Pour into large covered baking dish.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 to 55 minutes. DO NOT OPEN during baking. (NO PEEKING) Pyrex or a roasting pan works best.

Notes
Spray pan with non-stick spray before cooking.
This is very good the next day also..great leftovers.

  1. Very good meal! I could not find cream of onion soup, so I added a package of onion soup mix and 1/2 cup of water. Also I used chicken breast, cooked and seasoned and chopped carrots. Very tasty!

  2. Lite comfort food! My husband thought it tasted like a pot pie, he loved it! Simple to make and easy for two (half the recipe). I added a little green onion and cilantro and topped it off with fresh parmesan cheese. A new favorite!
