Pancakes

Homemade goodness!

    Ingredients

  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 large Egg, beaten
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 2 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
    Directions

  1. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar together.
  2. Add egg, milk and oil.
  3. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour onto heated griddle and cook until bursting bubbles are in the pancake, turn and cook for about 1 more minutes.
  5. Serve hot off the griddle!
  6. To make waffles: increase backing powder to 1 1/4 tsp. and add 1 tsp. vanilla.

Notes
Cook all the extra batter up into pancakes, and freeze them. Next time you are in a hurry, pop one in the toaster to heat!
Makes 6-8 pancakes
