Pancakes
Homemade goodness!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1 large Egg, beaten
- 3/4 cup Milk
- 2 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
Directions
- Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar together.
- Add egg, milk and oil.
- Mix until smooth.
- Pour onto heated griddle and cook until bursting bubbles are in the pancake, turn and cook for about 1 more minutes.
- Serve hot off the griddle!
- To make waffles: increase backing powder to 1 1/4 tsp. and add 1 tsp. vanilla.
Notes
Cook all the extra batter up into pancakes, and freeze them. Next time you are in a hurry, pop one in the toaster to heat!
Makes 6-8 pancakes
