Crunchy Frozen Bananas

What a great healthy treat for the kids (and adults, too!) They’ll never know it’s good for them and it’s a perfect after school snack!

    Ingredients

  • 4 firm ripe bananas
  • 8 wooden skewers
  • 1 container (6oz) yogurt, any flavor
  • 3 cups cereal, i.e. Oat Cluster Cheerios, Grapenuts, granola, etc.
    Directions

  1. Cover cookie sheet with waxed paper. Peel bananas; cut bananas in half.
    Insert wooden stick into cut end of each banana.
  2. Roll bananas in yogurt, thn in cereal to coat. Place in cookie sheet.
    Freeze until firm, about 1 hour.
  3. Eat immediately or wrap each banana in plastic wrap or foil. Store in freezer.
