Crunchy Frozen Bananas
What a great healthy treat for the kids (and adults, too!) They’ll never know it’s good for them and it’s a perfect after school snack!
Ingredients
- 4 firm ripe bananas
- 8 wooden skewers
- 1 container (6oz) yogurt, any flavor
- 3 cups cereal, i.e. Oat Cluster Cheerios, Grapenuts, granola, etc.
Directions
- Cover cookie sheet with waxed paper. Peel bananas; cut bananas in half.
Insert wooden stick into cut end of each banana.
- Roll bananas in yogurt, thn in cereal to coat. Place in cookie sheet.
Freeze until firm, about 1 hour.
- Eat immediately or wrap each banana in plastic wrap or foil. Store in freezer.
