Crockpot Cranberry Chicken

It’s a deliciously simple crockpot recipe that is perfect for the crisp fall weather!

    Ingredients
  • 4-5 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1 can whole cranberries
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
    Directions
  1. Place potatoes in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Put the whole chicken on top of the potatoes.
  3. Mix the cranberries, soup mix and water together. Pour over top the chicken.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Cook on low about 8 hours (or high 4-5 hours).
  6. Sauce may be used to serve over chicken, if desired.

Notes
Serve with green salad.

  3. Very good and I loved the aroma of it cooking! I kind of picked up the cranberry sauce instead of the whole cranberries so I just used it…added extra water and it was still very tasty! I also added carrots, onion and chicken breast only.
