Peter, Peter Pumpkin Eater
I don’t actually know how the rest of the nursery rhyme goes, however I know enough to like Peter. How would I know that, you say? We have something in common: we LOVE pumpkin (at least I’m assuming Peter loves it or he wouldn’t live in one)! I don’t know the exact reason I love pumpkin: the smell of it baking, the texture of pure pumpkin, or the taste? Maybe it’s all of the above mixed with the change of the seasons and the crisp fall air. I’m sure the weather is a key component because they sell pumpkin year round, but I only bust out my pumpkin recipes in October and November. Tis the season for everything pumpkin, especially for eating it.

That pumpkin bread is one of my favorite things on this site. It’s so moist and good. I triple up on it and put it in the freezer.
That w/ a tub of butter on the counter as a snack is priceless.
