5 Minute Cheese Sauces

Last fall we had a chat about how to make homemade mac n cheese without using processed cheeses and cream of mushroom soup. So, when I ran across these recipes for making REAL cheese sauces, I just knew I had to share it with you. You can use these in your fondue pot or your stove top for a wonderfully cheesy treat. And the best part — it takes only 5 minutes!

Bring 2 1/2-3 oz of water to boil. Crumble in approximately 1/2lb of cheese (see suggestions below). Stir until smooth. Lower heat to a simmer. Remove from heat and serve.

Serving Suggestions:
Horseradish Cheese: Serve over asparagus, squash, green beans
Buffalo Wing Cheese: Serve over nachos, fries, scrambled eggs
Smoked Gouda Cheese: Use over pasta, baked potato, porkchops
Champagne Chese: Use as fondue with fresh fruit and chocolate
