Blackened Tuna Steaks

This is so quick and tasty. Should take 15 minutes total from prep to serving.

    Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. Italian Seasoning
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Pepper
  • Dash of Cayenne- to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 2 4-6oz Tuna Steaks, approx 1/2″ thick
    Directions

  1. Combine all seasonings in a bowl. Rub your steaks on both sides with the mixture.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet. Add steaks and and cook 4-8 minutes, flipping once. Cook time depends on your preference.

Notes
Serve with lemon wedges, rice, veggies, or salad.
You could also throw these on a grill but be gentle because this fish will flake when cooked.
